Yuzen-Zomz is the dyeing and printing silk Kimono fabric, produced since the 15th century. 140 years ago Yoshikawa Sensyo is founded as a hand dyeing Yuzen workshop. Recently, the fourth generation of Yoshikawa masters created a new modelling technique. A Yuzen feature’s is the 3D pattern (such as the landscape), express and draw with the form in fine lines in 2D. Master Yoshikawa used the traditional 2D drawing and restored the lines to make a pattern in 3 dimensions. He invented a unique form of object that looks like a sculpture.
